i get about 38 FPS in 640x480x256 using allegro...this is for my 3d
engine...since the FPS matters on what kind of mesh i load..the FPS can
vary...but 38 FPS is for a torus (400 faces, 200 vertices) using gouraud
shading, with light sourceing...so i'm calculating alot of stuff...i'm
using a Pentium pro-200....but your FPS isn't bad..i can't remember
where i heard it, but i heard that the eye can only see like 18 FPS or
something like that (i think it's higher, but that's what i read)....have
you tried using dirty rectangles?...it depends on what your displaying
every frame, but it might speed things up....
