The Pentium compiler has some problem with a specific package Meschach: a
public linear system library from ftpmaths.anu.edu.au. With -O6 option,
the compiler crashes at compiling the spbkp.c (while the previous pgcc
version cc1.exe.gz, it hangs at the same place). There are some other
routines/examples in the package cause problem with -O6 option. Well, with
-O2 option, everything is OK (compiled and working).Maybe, the experts can
take a look at the package. ftp://ftpmaths.anu.edu.au/pub/meschach/mesch12
b.zip I will like to know whether is a bug in the compiler or in the
Meschach package.Thank you.
