I have done a minimal Python port, available at
http://users.vnet.net/bdarnell/djpy.html
There is another port that includes precompiled binaries and some
extension modules (e.g. Numeric and readline), but I don't have the
address handy.
I've also got an incomplete interface to Allegro.  Email me if you're
interested.
