I totally totally agree!! I used to do all my own graphics coding up
till about two years ago. Then I stopped programming. College kept me
way to busy. Lately I've gotten back into it big time and Allegro has
saved me a TON of time on my latest project already. I'm doing it as
part of my Object Oriented Analysis and Design Class (CPS499) and it'll
actually let me finish the project in the six week time period I've got.
One of the best libraries I've ever used.
I also belive it's at: ftp://ftp.delorie.com/pub/djgpp/v2tk
or somewhere around there.
