I suppose one thing you could do is RTFS (read the f*cking source)... or
connive Shawn into writing a Programmer's Guide to Allegro manual, or
interpret the source and write it yourself. (I've seen some source though,
and it is hairy, believe you me. Hardware register hacking, hairy
optimized jump tables, and so forth...holy guacamole!)
