You need to make sure all the pictures use the same palette. This might be
difficult; if you're drawing the pictures yourself, you should set the
palette before you start. Otherwise, you'll need to get a painting program
which can remap the colours so that they all use the same palettes. This
could alter the images slightly, but (hopefully) not significantly.
