I do. It will; I've had a little trouble with the detection code I lifted
from Vince Vu's guide (basically it's unreliable; doesn't work very well
in Windows 95). I'm looking for alternative detection techniques. A more
immediate problem is that my SoundFont loader is SIGFPEing, so I'm
looking into that.

The rest of the code's fine, though, and I'll pass it on to Shawn
officially as soon as I've fixed the above bugs (could be anytime in the
next week).

: Anyway, I have all of these cool midi songs (for games) and I have a cousin
: who writes EXCELLENT midi music but I want to port them to MOD file so I
: can use a mod player for Allegro...
:
: Any good info on this? Also, what is the BEST mod player for Allegro?
: Where can I get some excellent MODS? sorry for so many questions..

MikAlleg is reportedly a MOD tracker for Allegro, but I've never tried it.
