Heh... midis sound "wrong" on everything except what you originally used to
play them.  After I upgraded to WinDoze 95 from 3.11, all of my midis
sounded horrible on 95's player -- so much so that I just gave up and
started collecting mods.  They sound even worse under DOS, using the
play.exe that I got with my soundblaster 16.  Chances are they'll sound
different under Allegro's play.exe (unless of course that one's identical
to the one with my SB).  It's just a matter of taste and executable.
