Subject:	Allegro / MPU401 MIDI input

Hi!  At the moment it seems that there's no provision
in Allegro for MIDI input.  This is rather a pity...

Now, I'm not begging, I'm sure you have other things 
you'd rather be doing.  But I'm willing to write it
myself, apart from one slight problem.  Although I
have the MIDI and MIDI-file specifications, I can't
find anything on the MPU401 interface itself.  Since
you have the stuff in Allegro to play MIDIfiles, I
assume you got the information from somewhere.  Could
I ask where?  Or even if you have a copy you could 
send me?

(If anyone else has data or code to read from a MPU401
MIDI card they could send me, that would be good as 
well, which is why I'm sending this to the list and not
just to Shawn...)
