Then send your recommendations to Rainer Schnitker on how to make it less
confusing :)
I understand the frustration.  But there are some good readme files that
explain the procedures.
Mainly, you were looking at:
NT09 (the NT port of EMX), RSXNT (what is needed to operate the port in
NT), RSX runtime, and RSXWIN runtime.
The organization makes sense.
The files are huge?  Have you had a look at Visual C++ by any chance?

With DJGPP you need RSXNTDJ only.  You can find this also at SimTel Net in
the DJGPP directory with no other RSX packages.
(you do not need rsx with djgpp and rsxntdj).
