Question: why does it matter WHY he needs to do this?  The point is he 
wants to do it.  That's all the information you need.  I do not see how that 
has any bearing on answering his question.  If he wants to do it, he wants 
to do it!

Anyways, personally I have no idea myself.  He's probably be out of luck.
