Because when you click with the mouse it inverts the colors of the button
you click on (waiting for the button to be released before the click takes
effect), wheras if you use the keyboard or joystick, or if you doubleclick
on the listbox itself, the button doesn't ever change colour so the text
mode will be left in a different state...
