The only significant difference here is the FM instrument patches being
used by the driver. The ones in Allegro came from a library called MID-KIT
made by John Pollard: I'm not sure where he originally got them from. To
make the playback sound closer to the Win95 drivers, you'll need to locate
an appropriate set of OPL instrument defs and insert them into the file
fm_instr.h. I've no idea where you'd look for such a thing: if you do find
any better instruments, please send me a copy!
