Why not build all your objects into a library and then simply 
link with the library?  There are tons of makefile examples in 
the djgpp distribution, not to mention all the faqs and docs 
on gnu make for djgpp to help you do this.

Alternatively, I think the bash shell allows much bigger 
command line size (although I am not sure about this as I 
am planning on, but not yet using bash).
