What you are overlooking is that Ez-GCC is an obsolete version of
DJGPP.  It uses v1.12, while the current version is 2.01.  Visit
<ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/> for the latest releases
and updates, in the directories beginning with 'v2'.  The file
'v2/readme.1st' should be your first download.
