Of course... But I must say that DJGPP already *is* easy to install - even
for new users. I tried to install Linux several times, O.K. it works, I
even get X to run my graphics card in the right resolution and frequency,
but it doesn't take long and I get stuck in some configuration files
somewhere... So I *did* worry about installing DJGPP, with the thought in
mind that it actually is ported from some Unix program... I had to install
it, because I need 64bit Integers and don't like much writing my own
routines (espacially debugging them <g>).
Hey, and then this... I read readme.1st, I took a short look at the FAQ
(what to download), ftp'd the packages, unzipped them, set the ENV and PTH,
and... It worked! Yes it really did - even though it's ported form Unix...
;)
No fuss with any further config files, and with RHIDE I don't even have to
worry about these mysterious *.mak Files - well at least not for a while...
