I'm afraid I'm one of those people (sorry, Those People) who
dislikes the Bourne shell (and its derivatives) syntax
intensely.  I grant that it's more powerful than the C
shell and derivatives, and I do sometimes have to use
it instead for scripts (although I generally manage to get
Awk or Perl to do instead), but not, if I can help it, for
command line.

I have no doubt that the port of bash is a very good port...

(Yes, I could just install Linux, but an earlier comment 
applies - no money for a decent sized hard drive...)

If I find the source of tcsh I'll look at porting it myself...
