I have tried to compile simple objective-c program:

--- test.m ---
#include <objc/Object.h>
#include <stdio.h>

int
main (void)
{
  id test = [[Object alloc] init];

  fprintf (stderr, "in %s\n", __PRETTY_FUNCTION__);
  [test free];

  return 0;
}
--- end of test.m ---

compile with: gcc -g -o test test.m -lobjc

And program exits due to SIGFPE
in __objc_init_dispatch_tables (according to gdb).

Then I have rebuild libobjc.a using sources from
gcc2721s.zip.

>cd gcc-2721/config/msdos
>configure.bat go32
>cd objc
>make -f makefile.dos

then copied resulting library to djgpp/lib
and recompiled test.m and the problem goes away
(at least it runs without complains).

I have used obc2721b.zip from ftp.uni-paderborn.de,
but I think it is the same as in original distribution.

BTW, is there any ports of gcc2722 to djgpp?

  Regards,
               Mike.
