The latest FAQ (v2/faq210b.zip) is dated 17 January 1997, but it still 
says this (in section 11.7):

  You will have to get the GCC source distribution `gcc2721s.zip', 
  install the above patch, rebuild `cc1obj.exe', and then recompile 
  `libobjc.a' to make the problem go away.

So it seems that the patch was installed in cc1obj.exe, but libobjc.a was 
not rebuilt.  You will have to do that yourself.
