I've recently downloaded and am now running DJGPP emacs 19.34 under DOS.
The zip file date and time for emacs.exe is 3-Nov-1996, 13:21:32. All
seems well, except that the right alt key seems to have no effect; for
example, holding the right alt key down and typing `a', followed by M-x
view-lossage, shows just `a' rather than `M-a'. I've written C test
programs which show that the right alt key on the particular keyboard
I'm using works correctly, whether BIOS or DOS calls are used.

I've checked the DJGPP FAQ (Edition 2.10 of the FAQ, last updated 17
January 1997), the emacs README files, and the emacs info files, without
success. I've written a fair amount of emacs lisp (I usually run emacs
under Windows NT and Unix), so an elisp solution is fine.

Thanks for any help,

                              David Bassin.
