You've been using Borland C, haven't you?  :)

To find out about interrupt handlers (keyboard, specifically), look at
the coding section of my web page (below).  I've got example source and
an explanation there.

Or look at the source code to Allegro.  It has several interrupt
handlers.  It's a bit bigger, though...
