DJGPP itself doesn't really endorse a graphics library; there are several 
you can choose from. Which one you do choose will depend upon what you 
intend to use it for. I personally use Allegro, which is more than just a 
graphics library - it has routines to play sound, time things, get input 
from mouse, keyboard, joystick, ... everything you need to write games. 
The latest version even does 3D texture mapping. Look at the homepage:
