How much typeahead (how many keystrokes) are required to bomb it (I want
to try to reproduce the bug on my machine)? Do you use some kind of
keyboard enhancer that enlarges the 15-character BIOS keyboard buffer? If
so, try without that enhancer and see if that solves the problem. Also,
what exactly are you compiling and in what setup when this happens? Will
any compilation do? Do you use `bash' or any other non-standard
front-end to DOS?

A wise policy. But it requires to know exactly what does ``hurt'' here.

Never happened for me.
