I see that what I wrote wasn't very clear.  When I would compress a .inf
file, info would give me an error regarding gunzip.

I just tested it and it worked fine.  Oh, well.  It wasn't working before
and, if memory serves, it had to do with gunzip.exe being a "symbolic
link".  gunzip.exe is not a sym link anymore in my bin directory.
Something in the change was the fix.

Cool.  I put off compressing the .inf files until there was a fix.  I'll
do it now.
