What would be even nicer is that the if the mailbot spots the word help in
the subject, would send the 'contents' page of the FAQ, then the person
requesting help could simply use email to directly respond to the bot
after cropping out all but the question(s) he wants to ask. Only if all
this fails, the questioner should post directly to the group, making sure
that they leave the word help out of the subject line.

Which is generally what I do, the nice part is that the 'thick' threads,
(ones which have been running a while), I can leave alone because they're
in a nice big fat batch by themselves.
