While reading all the messages about moderation, something sprung to my
mind. Does the undesired mail mostly come from Usenet or is there an even
balance between it and the mailing list?

I think people in the mailing list are less-likely to post undesirable mail
since we get our mailboxes full and it takes a while to read through so
many messages. If indeed those posts come mostly from Usenet, I'd favour
stopping the gateway between the two.

Has anyone got more information?
