I'm sorry about the response I just sent out about the C++ complex data 
type.  I did not pay attention to the subject of the thread which 
specifies complex in _c (!c++)_.

Please disregard my last message.  (I just spent the last 2.5 hrs getting 
intermitantly electricuted by a He-Ne laser and my brain is still on the 
blink. :)
