Pleas can you reproduce this, because I can't imagine this (never
happened
for me or reported by others).

Or do you have some special keyboard driver, which can be the reason

That's DJGPP related, since DJGPP is known, to be not the best
environment
for signal handling.

Does this mean, that you want that your PC hangs when you press
^C??
