Yup. Good ole Creative and/or Rendition haven't tried too hard with VGA
compatibility. Most software that I use which needs the 80x50 mode
didn't work until I upgraded my 3DB BIOS to 1.0.73 and even then some
standard modes still don't work without Scitech Display Doctor.
Interestingly enough, Rhide hangs on my system at exit - not startup.
