well i tried copying the example code from this section and it sort of works.
it doesn't sigsegv all over the place, but after a while (when the code is
called by the hardware) it returns something about a tss error, and something
about rmcb problems and crashes. neither a search for rmcb nor tss showed up
any references in the faq though. this doesn't happen often either, about
90% of the time it calls the function correctly (it's just an empty function
there's nothing in it :) but the other 10% gives that rmcb problem.
rmcb = real mode call back?
