The DJGPP v2 uses CWSDPMI which is a dos extender that gives you DPMI
support.The compiler produces an EXE . When the program is executed the
start-up code looks for a DPMI host (like win95, the DPMI in dosemu,
QEMM etc). If it finds one it continues, if not it loads CWSDPMI then
continues executing.
CWSDPMI is similar to Pmode, dos4gw etc.
