I've tried using the ttf2pcx utility found on the Allegro
homepage, but it doesn't seem to work. I select the true
type font, the desired size, then export it to a pcx file.
Unfortunatly when I grab the font (BTW I'm using the Work
in progress Allegro, with the new grabber) it seems to
grab extra spaces, which then appear as black blocks when
I write with the font. It seems that the grabber is
grabbing the spaces between the fonts as well as the letter.
I thought the font might be at fault, but when I tried it
ttf2pcx utility with Times New Roman and Arial, which I
believe are pretty much generic fonts, the same problem
arose.
Is there a fix for this? It this a known "feature" of the
utility?
Any help would be appreciated,
Andrew Ellem
