Yes, it crashes even if I just edit, without invoking any external programs.
Just to clarify, here's an example of a situation that causes the crash:
start rhide, choose new from the file menu, and start typing.  After I have
typed a few lines, it crashes.

This information was produced by the Generate Bug Report command in rhide.
I don't know what command line Robert uses there, but I assume that it is
the cause of the -.c and /dev/null, since I can compile withe no problems
from a DOS prompt.
