What you folks are describing is very odd. I use the 16-bit version of
Netscape 3.01 Gold (exe dated 10/22/96 7:16:30 pm) in Windows 3.11 and
it has never crashed from inactivity no matter how much junk I was doing
(or not doing) at the time. The editor works fine, and is a lot better
once they fixed the line wrapping bugs in 2.x. The only real problem
that I've had using NN is that for a while it was "losing" news articles
- they just seemed to disappear without a trace from the server. I
reinstalled it the other day and the problem went away. :)

Are you using the 32-bit version of NN? If so, then I may reconsider
upgrading once I get Win95...
