 I have to disagree, I don't think even Schlidt has written such an 
 inaccurate book about C. If you want a real book about C, get
 K&R II. This is written by the ORIGNAL C designer/documenter, only
 with support for the ANSI standard this time. Look up the required
 info in the comp.lang.c FAQ, I think it is still there. K&R is
 a introductory book. If you want a reference, then I suggest 
 the C Language Reference Manual commonly referred to as C_ARM
 by Steele, info also available in the clc FAQ I think.

 I don't suggest using comp.lang.c as they appear the prefer flaming new
 users for asking questions over actually helping them.
