GRUB is very good indeed. I use it on my system to boot OpenDOS, Linux
(stable or development) or a floppy (my BIOS is set up to go straight
to the hard disk). The only problem with it just now is that it's
possible for anyone to boot any operating system on the machine in any
way without passwords etc. For example any user could boot Linux in
single-user mode and get root access without a password... It does
require knowing how the GRUB command line works, but it's still a
*big* security hole for machines whose console is accessible to
anyone.
