I want to put OpenDOS on my computer but when I tried today,
everything just went to heck... I am running a 386 with 4 mb ram and
an EGA monitor. It is currently running PC-DOS 7.0 and win3.11 for wg
with 4dos as primary shell. I hav a direct T1 connect and am running
Novell Netware and LAN. When I installed OpenDOS, my computer
suddenly would not use UMB, load stuff high from the autoexec, the
tcpip stack was having some fatal error, and Taskmgr was just giving
me hell...

I want to propose the creation of a comp.os.opendos newsgroup...

how are they started?

i always was wondering how to subscribe to the OpenDOS mailing list?

thanks,
Paul J. Thompson
