No, no, *no*, NO!!!  Please don't do that!  Please don't edit DJGPP.ENV 
and specifically DON'T change the line which defines DJDIR!  This will 
cause grave problems in some cases.  Both the file DJGPP.ENV and the 
DJGPP FAQ list explicitly warn you to NOT change that line.

Just set DJGPP=c:/djgpp/djgpp.env in your AUTOEXEC.BAT, and it will all 
work.
