Subject: socket based TSR or something?

The following idea came to my mind recently:

Would it be possible to write a TSR (perhaps) or something that
can exist in the 640K footprint that sends the VGA screen contents
constantly (at a predefined rate) to a peer on the unix side
allowing to see the whole screen contents being shown in a X window
or in a nv screen. (nv multimedia tool, similar to vic, cuseeme etc.)

Thinking of it further one could extend that to mapping key and
mouse events to the server side and can operate the PC remotely.

Reason behind:

A video camera updates the VGA screen on a DOS PC and I want to
transfer this picture to my unix server.
