I would advise against removing RHGDB.  The DJGPP development experience 
shows that within hours of removing a feature, a report will be posted 
that requires that very feature to be reinstated.  You got lucky: in your 
case, the report appeared *before* that.  Since supporting an existing 
application (especially when nobody seems to use it, so there are no 
reported bugs) never hurts too much, I submit that no program should be 
ever removed from a package.
