I am trying to get emacs working under DOS. I have done what the docs say i.e. obtained and unzipped all the relevant file into the specified directories etc etc etc and then run 'config msdos'. However emacs will not start up - all I get is a bit of a flash of white and then it craps out. The faqs etc don't seem to cover this problem. Does any one have any suggestions?
