The freedos goal is to recreate DOS3.3 first, then improve it.
OpenDOS is slightly beyond that goal.  :o)  Besides, when the OpenDOS
sources are released, we'll have a FREE DOS with source.  The FreeDOS
project no doubt will continue, however unless it has the
functionality of at least DOS 5.0 it is not very useful other than for
nostalgic purposes.

I do follow the FreeDOS project though, and think that it is a great
idea.  I wish them luck.
