I'm not removing anything.  The problem with the source code is that it is
currently entwined in a commercial version control system that Caldera
doesn't have the rights to distribute.  Because of how deeply rooted the
sources are in this VCS, I'm having to write brand new makefiles from
scratch.  This is very difficult because I'm having to build the new
makefiles from the output of the old ones.  The reason I'm doing it this
way is because I could learn to speak Chinese faster than I could learn
the ins and outs of this VCS. ;)

Sean, you've made some very important and valid points.  I'm going to
forward this to Caldera.  We'll get the licensing agreement changed.

Keep in mind that the agreement that is on the web page has not been
officially approved, thus the reason for the delay on wide release.
