Somebody already started a #djgpp channel on DALnet, but it has
languished for lack of support. There just aren't enough interested
people to maintain a 24 hour presence on the channel, which is what
would be required for truly effective user support. The other problem,
of course, is finding enough knowledgeable folks to give help. I can't
see DJ or Eli or Robert having time to sit on IRC for hours at a time;
while I also have a great deal of knowledge I can only be on for a
couple of hours in the evenings.

We really need to get together a group of people who would be capable of
taking shifts on IRC and know enough to help users through the basics.
If we could establish that the #djgpp channel would really be actively
supported, it would probably take off on its own. ;)
