It's a FREE incarnation of DOS based on Novell DOS 7. Contains multitasking 
support, networking and many more (see http://www.deltasoft.com). What does 
it have to do with DJGPP? Well, it's DOS, it's FREE, it supports DPMI, it has 
multitasking, all the sources will be available - anyone programming with 
DJGPP (I hope) will be delighted to dive into the deep water of OpenDOS 
sources and change, change, change - for that you need compiler and tools - 
DJGPP!!
