I'm not too sure what you mean by "behave like Rhide". You can compile
from within Emacs, and then use the output of the compile to move to
any bugs that may be found, stuff like that. Emacs includes an info
reader so you can read the docs from Emacs.

As for generating Makefiles, I don't know of anything. Well, I suppose
there is always 'gcc -MM *.c'. :-)

Obviously, for the Rhide fans, the best thing to do would be to port
Rhide to Linux.
