        Both Robert and Salvador helped me solve this in email for 
which I thank them.  For others using Win95 who may have this problem, 
the solution was to rename "rhide.info" to "rhide.inf" and, in my 
case, "infview.eng" to "infview.inf".  It all seems to work fine, now. 
I do have LFN=y.
