What does go32-v2 report when run with no arguments on your DJGPP setup?
Also, it would be nice if you could post a short program that attempts to 
allocate the above structs and outputs the maximum number of allocated 
structs before failure, then run it on both your platforms and post the 
results.

Btw, it's highly probable that there's some problem with your program, 
since even a failed allocation shouldn't cause a segfault.
