I don't know if this well help or even if you will be able to use it with
djgpp, but Microsoft has released its second beta version of ActiveX
Internet Controls which lets you use winsock and all the transfer
protocols(HTTP, FTP, NNTP, SMTP, POP3 and other things). At the moment it
is located at:
http://www.microsoft.com/icp/us/icpdown/icpdown.htm
the file is called MSICPB.exe and is about 2.37MB
It includes files that tell you how to log on to the servers using the
different protocols.
Is it possible that these files could in any way be used with djgpp?
Or is someone writing a Winsock library for djgpp?
Cheers
Liam
