Maybe I didn't undertand you correct, so I will try to reproduce what
you did:

1) Starting RHIDE
2) Compile and link the program
3) Shelling to DOS (menu File/Dos-Shell)
4) Running the linked program
5) returning to RHIDE
6) Exiting RHIDE

And now the exe-file and the .o-files are deleted?? Is that correct for
you?

If the above steps describe what you did, then it is of course a
bug (which I don't understand until now).

But now some words to the above steps. Why do you do it in that way?
Do you know that you can run the program without shelling to DOS?
(menu Run/Run or Ctrl+F9).
And the next. Manually manipulating the files when shelling to DOS
is never a good idea because RHIDE caches some information about
the files and I cannot say, what will be happen if you do such
things.

This is a know bug and already fixed by me (for the next).

And at last, please include also in your post, waht exactly version and
date of RHIDE you are using and in waht environment you are running
(plain DOS, Windows 95 or Windows 3.1x).
